Buying Tickets in Advance Until Midnight Tonight
The cut-off for buying tickets in advance of the event is Wednesday 17 November 2010 at Midnight, that's tonight!Here are the ticket prices:

Buying Tickets On-the-Door
You will be able to buy GBSEx0 tickets (3 night party passes) on the door. Prices will be held at £99. If you want to do workshops, you can buy individual workshops at the event for £7 each, subject to availability.Already Bought Your Tickets?
Registration
Registration will be from 6pm on Friday 19 November 2010 at the Town Hall. You will need to bring either:Your Order Confirmation with its 4-digit reference number
Or
Identification with your full name (either Passport, Driver's Licence or Credit/Debit card.

Workshops
The advance workshop booking system is now closed. If you haven't booked your workshops yet, you will be able to choose your workshops when you arrive at the event. Just visit Help Desk. There's plenty of capacity left in workshops, so don't despair!:

Our Pre-Congress party takes place on Thursday evening and is a relaxed and friendly warm-up to GBSEx festivities...This year our party features international guest stars, Adolfo & Carla from Italy! We're delighted to welcome them to GBSEx for the first time. They're currently headlining all over the world and are both incredible teachers and performers. They'll be giving us a 2 Hour Bootcamp and performing their latest show at midnight ... Not to be missed!

Manchester's Albert Square Web Cam!
We're not the only ones gearing up for a special event. Albert Sq is a hive of activity as the Christmas Markets begin to go up tonight. You can watch it happening live on the Albert Square web cam: http://manchesterdda.net:8081/2/
We're very lucky that Manchester's bustling Christmas Markets coincide with GBSEx, with the main European Market held in Albert Square right outside the Town Hall. The Markets provides a wonderful, festive backcloth to our salsa festival.
They mark the beginning of the festive season: by day, they buzz with shoppers hunting out the perfect handmade gifts, and by night they pulse with the happy chatter of friends, co-workers and visitors sipping mulled wine and sharing food as they catch up before Christmas. With people visiting from all over the country, Manchester's Christmas Markets are now firmly established as among the very best in Europe.
In addition to the main European Market, smaller markets spread out into nearby streets including Brazennose Street, which hosts the World Christmas Market, the World Arts and Crafts Market on Exchange Street, the Manchester Christmas Market on New Cathedral Street and the superb German Christmas Market in St Ann's Square. The markets open up at 10am each day, with the smaller markets closing at 7.30pm and the bigger markets in St Ann's Square and Albert Square still buzzing at 10pm.
So, if you fancy a bit of Christmas cheer as a break from salsa, it's right on your doorstep!

Marlon is the last addition to our dream team line up of instructors and he steps in to teach Men's Styling On2 and Int/Adv TP On1.Marlon is the Director of Marsies Mambo Dance Company in the Netherlands with an impressive number of years honing his talent on dancefloors worldwide. Marlon was one of the forerunners of On2 technique and style in Europe having travelled regularly to train in NY for many years with, in particular, Eddie Torres.
Drawing on his background in break dancing and electric boogaloo Marlon has a quirky, unusual style which is fun and challenging yet unmistakable and as unique as his team choreography which has been engaging salsa audiences across Europe.
Zero-to-Salsa
Beginners' Programme
GBSEx offers a dedicated Beginners' Programme called 'Zero to Salsa'.
Ideal for those who have never danced salsa before or who have taken just a few lessons, this programme will get you dancing salsa in no time. It's also an ideal 'companion package' for partners or friends of experienced dancers, who don't dance salsa but might like to come along.
Beginners can choose to come for the whole weekend or for just 1 day. They do their own workshops during the day and then join the main event for the shows and parties in the evening. Beginners even have their own 'Beginners' Warm-Up party' on Saturday night!

We've 2 masterclasses on this year's programme. They're aimed at the professional or advanced dancer, and will be taught at a faster pace, with more challenging content than the Int/Adv workshops on the Workshop Schedule. Class numbers will be limited and male:female ratios monitored.
